2nd PCI International Symposium

The event which was organized by PCI & e-construct, consisted of six training seminars over a four day span. The seminars talked about Quality Control Personnel Training, Seismic/Blast design, The Fundamentals of Post-Tensioning, Sandwich Panels, Precast Concrete Bridge Designs and The Common Connection Designs in the U.S and UAE (United Arab Emirates). Mr. Sennour and Sameh ElAshri (Partner and Chief Engineer e.construct, UAE) discussed the design of precast connections as well with the philosophy of connection designs in the U.S and UAE. At the end of the symposium participants were awarded a Certificate of Attendance by PCI, and those who did the two day training followed by an exam, were awarded The PCI QC Level 1 Certificate. As the symposium came to a close, they were able to open up their first PCI chapter in Dubai. |
