CEG-TX was extremely excited to team up with precast producer Heldenfels Enterprises, Inc. and Lowe Precast, Inc. to design and detail the architectural and structural precast components for the new McLane Football Stadium at Baylor University. Completed for the start of the 2014 football season, the new picturesque $266 million state of the art stadium, situated on the banks of the Brazos River, is changing the face of the Baylor campus and energizing the Baylor Football program. McLane Stadium has a seating capacity of 45,000 (with capacity to expand to 55,000) including six founder suites, 39 additional suites and 79 loge boxes. With boat access from the river and a breathtaking view from Interstate 35, McLane Stadium has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the university and community.
With a tight construction schedule, and over 1,350 precast pieces, CEG-Texas incorporated their vast stadium experience, along with BIM modeling, to coordinate and resolve complex framing details with the design team to ensure on-time completion of the project.
With over 8 major stadium projects completed together, CEG-Texas / Heldenfels team is proud to contribute to the McLane Stadium construction.
