Lincoln Financial Field, more commonly known as "The Linc" has become a staple of South Philadelphia and its history. Upon the stadium's Completion, tickets for the 2003 football season went on sale. All 66,000 seats were completely sold out for the entire season, a first in Eagles' history.
The new stadium provided nearly twice as many luxury suites as were available in the previous Eagles stadium. The Linc ensured an elevated experience for fans by means of improving the accessibility from section to section, with elevated walkways and upgraded handicap accessibility, as well as through digital, such as HD video boards.
